Tips for a day in Paris  The Latin quarter is a great place to start a day in Paris. Seeing for example the Pantheon gives you an opportunity to witness some of the finest architecture in Paris. Great Frenchmen like Voltaire, Rousseau and Victor Hugo are buried here and you have the chance to see there graves. The interior of the Pantheon is filed with statues and paintings, and the catacombs with graves of  famous Frenchmen. Since it is one of the less famous places, the ques to enter are oftentimes a lot smaller then at Notre-dame and the Eiffel tower.  The Tuileries garden (or Jardin des tulieries) is a great place to relax after a day at the louvre. It lies between the Louvre and place de la concorde. You can relax on a bench, in the grass or in a outdoor cafe in the park or go to the tivoli which of course has a Ferris wheel.  If you want an easy and cheap view of Paris the top of the Lafayette shopping centre can be recommended.
