Musée Miniature et Cinéma

The Miniature and film museum in Lyon is filed with props and sets from famous films and series. This picture for example shows a huge moving alien in a cage. 

One of the scenes from the movie "perfume". Big parts of the ground floor shows scenes like this from the movie, some extremely elaborate and well made. 

"Mystique" from the X-men films, standing next to "the thing" form the fantastic four movies (the 2005 film). There are a lot of costumes from the big stars or extras on display in the museum. 

The claws Hugh Jackman used in one of the X-men films as "Wolverine".

There is also many weapons and other props form different films on display. 

Here is a model of the airship in the tree musketeers film from 2011 with Orlando Bloom. 

The Museum has an enormous collection of movie props, costumes, sets and other stuff over several floors. Well wrought a visit for every person interested in films who visits Lyon. The building is very easy to find, as it lies in the main street of Lyons old town. There is also, as the name suggests, a collection for miniature art in the top floor. The miniature art is very impressive and shows some amazing handwork.
